Aspart of the development of our firm, we are looking for an enthusiastic andself-motivated graduate accountant to join our firm. Thesuccessful applicant will be quired to have:
- Degree qualification in accounting, business, or commerce with an average GPA above 5
- Strong written and oral communication skills, bilinguals speaker Preferred (Speaking Chinese is an advantage, but not essential)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, i.e. excel, word
- Attention to details
- Being friendly and corporative, a team-focused attitude
The main duties ofthe role will be
- Client bookkeeping, including bank reconciliation, payroll, invoice check, and Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation, by using Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks
- Preparation of Financial Statements and income tax returns for:
- Companies
- Trusts
- Partnerships
- Individuals / sole trader
- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office
- Ad hoc administration, including ASIC corporative matters
