Business analyst opportunity available! - entry level
An opportunity is available for an business analyst career starter.
Whilst this role will work across the entire business, a key focus will be around our Digital and Marketing areas, working collaboratively to understand the needs of our growing and complex business. Your skills in listening, documenting and developing requirements for large projects, software development initiatives and solving day to day problems will be a key requirement for success in this role. Timing is everything and joining our team at the start of a major digital transformation will be a great way to kickstart your career in Digital.
This role will support projects of various size and complexity and report to a Product Owner within the IT team.
Responsibilities include:
Mapping of current and target state business processes (As-Is and To-Be)
Evaluating business process requirements gathered from multiple sources
Decomposing high-level requirements into detailed use cases/requirements and diagrams
Working with developers and Solution Architects to ensure a common understanding of business requirements and scope of the work
Managing the transition of projects into the Operations team
Assisting end users with handover of technical changes or new systems
Resource planning and sprint planning for project and development teams
Supporting the Product Owner in the end-to-end lifecycle management of applicable technical products
Providing testing services
About you:
Experience working as a Business Analyst across multiple business units
Analytical thinker with an eye for detail
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal, formal documentation)
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Helpful attitude
Knowledge or experience working with software development teams, retail systems, ERP systems, integration platforms and Salesforce Commerce and Marketing Cloud products will be highly regarded.
