About The Role
As a web designer, you will work on projects and support the team to:
•        Build beautiful and functional websites (primarily using WordPress & Divi)
•        Provide technical support for client websites, hosting accounts, emails and related systems
•        Manage clients and projects (i.e. updating clients on support request and project status)
•        Being the first point of contact for support (including phone calls and emails)
•        * Conversion rate optimisation
•        * SEO optimisation
•        * Lead generation opportunities
•        * On Page conversion rate opportunities
•        * Social Media Marketing
•        * Facebook, Google Adwords and PPC advertising

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Be proficient in Javascript, Vue, JSON APIs & Amazon Cognito
• Backend Python experience is a plus and is highly regarded but not essential
  

Skills & Experience
You will be someone who:
•        Has proven WordPress experience
•        Has proven CSS and HTML experience
•        Has a portfolio of websites they have already developed
•        Has the ability to problem solve, develop a solution and implement it for website issues
•        Previous experience in related IT or web development role is expected
•        Server skills (such as managing DNS and familiarity with cPanel) are a benefit
•        Graphic design skills (such as Illustrator) will be viewed favourably but not required for the role
•        Has a strong desire to work as part of a cohesive team to grow their technical and leadership skills
•        Is passionate about delivering quality work and cares about client outcomes
