Social Work，社会工作，简称社工，是一个以助人为职业的工作。与医学关注人类生理健康，心理学关注人类心理健康不同的是，社工与两者习习相关，却又不仅局限于此。以预防和舒缓社会矛盾为己任的社工，现在和以后，带给你的，是满载的正能量！
在澳大利亚这样一个法制健全的国家，社会工作者绝对是一个越来越被主流学生，学者，求职者关注的新兴职业。澳洲人民生活水平普遍不错，所以社工的发展也非常正规。社工关注老百姓的民生问题，在大方向和细节上社工都希望对民生问题进行关注和帮助。例如，帮助青少年克服成长上的挫折，帮助维系亲情，改善老年人生活现状，鼓励青少年就业等等。社工的工作范围不仅仅局限在政府，也可以是医院，养老院，幼教中心，社区服务中心。关怀社会民生的同时，社工的薪水待遇也是非常稳定。另外，可能有小伙伴们会问，那社工是移民专业么？答案也是“YES”呢！

除了学术专业方面以外，怎样判断自己的个性能否适合这份工作呢？
小编结合历届毕业生和在职社工的经历，归纳了一下几点以供小伙伴们参考：
乐观积极自信，容易亲近；
具有责任感，真正投入地为别人设身处地着想；
表达能力强，有处理和client还有team memebr或者其他领域人员关系的能力。

要成为一个澳洲正式的social worker或者通过这个职业移民，必须要通过AASW的专业机构认证。AASW即是Australian Association of Social Workers。

那么现在问题来了，想要通过此机构的职业认证评估，除了满足完成指定院校指定学位的学习以外，还需要考到雅思四个7么？还需要工作经验么？
首先，雅思A类四个7是为了满足AASW认证上对于语言能力的要求的。可是这个也不是唯一的方法哦。有三个方式可以达到此项的豁免哦。选择一是在澳洲，新西兰，美国，英国，加拿大之一国家完成小学及中学教育；选择二是在以上英文为第一语言的国家完成至少3年或者以上全职本科或者以上学历学习；选择三是以正式社工身份在以上国家完成至少3年或者以上全职工作。
这里小编个人相信，通过选择二成功通过职业评估的占绝大多数哦。
其次，对于受认证的社工的工作经验，在做AASW职业评估的时候，不是必须的，但是在澳洲的一年或者以上工作经验以及全球任意国家三年或者以上工作经验都是可以在技术移民打分上面为你加5分的哦。
