Position: Cabling Installer
Location: Brisbane, Australia

We areexpanding our team and are looking for a skilled and experienced CablingInstaller to join us in delivering exceptional security services to ourclients across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design     and install low-voltage cabling systems for advanced security     applications.
  
• Conduct     onsite cabling installations with an understanding of distance limits,     voltage drops, and system optimization.
  
• Terminate     and assemble RJ45 data connectors, BNC coaxial cables, and electrical GPO     power sockets.
  
• Configure     and maintain parallel and serial connections in access control and alarm     systems, including the proper use of resistors.
  
• Operate     tools such as electronic drills, multimeters, and other essential     equipment with precision and safety.
  
• Set up     and configure POE switches, wireless access points, Wi-Fi repeaters, Wi-Fi     bridges, and routers.
  
• Use     ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts for installations, adhering to     safety protocols.
  
• Ensure     compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven     experience in cabling installation and low-voltage system design.
  
• Solid     understanding of system distance limits, voltage drops, and     troubleshooting techniques.
  
• Expertise     in networking hardware and Wi-Fi infrastructure setup.
  
• Familiarity     with parallel and serial connections for security and alarm systems.
  
• Skilled     in the use of cabling tools and equipment, including diagnostic tools.
  
• Knowledge     of safe operation practices for ladders, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
  
• Commitment     to adhering to onsite safety regulations and protocols.
