Dear Ollie, Lee and team,

I have received a job offer for the position of Book keeper and all rounder ina 40 year old company. I am very excited now as this is the first accounting jobI had struggled to hunt for the past 6 months. If I hadn't done the internshipin Platinum Accounting, I believe that I wouldn't have found this job because Ihave no accounting background at all.

This is the first and very important step in my career. I would like to thankJeff so much for doing reference check for me twice. Thanks Ollie and Lee whodid their best to help me in training and internship period. What you are doingis great and the idea of bringing practical experience for graduates like us isso BEAUTIFUL!
I have some feedback in the interviews as below:

There are 2 rounds of interview. They screen check me over the phone and askedabout my background, why I wanted to change from finance to accounting. Whatsoftware I was used to, etc.

In the second round, I was interviewed by two managers, one of them is CPA.
They asked me attitude questions such as "Introduce aboutyourself", "why don't you pursuing finance career".

Situation questions: "tell me the situation when you had a conflict withyour colleagues and how did you resolve", "if you have 3 samedeadlines from internal clients and you know that you cannot finish, what willyou do";

Technical questions: they check numerous skills by giving me some amount ofpurchase and discount % to calculate the amount payable. They asked how I wouldbook if: we purchase 1000 jars of honey, how to reverse if we sell 300 jars inthe credit period, we buy a company $1000 laptop and pay by EFTPOS, we receivean electricity bill with payment term 30 days, etc. They also asked me to putan invoice in which some items have GST, some items don't. And I had to make anexcel table with some simple functions.

After the training at Platinum accg, these questions are no longer difficultfor me so they quickly offer me the opportunity in day although theyinterviewed many people from the beginning of August.
