Accounts Assistant

A fine food distributor seeking a Chinese speaking,goal driven accounts assistant with min 1 year similar experience to work in arapidly growing company.

We are an established food importing/distributioncompany. We are seeking an Accounts Assistant, who enjoys challengesand fast pace environment to join our dynamic accounting team. The AccountsAssistant will be handling payment, resolving credit balances and postingtransactions to journals and ledgers.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review purchase orders and prepare cheque requests.

· Receives and receipts cash items and third partypayments

· Review credit balances & adjustments, and apply

· Balance daily batches and reports

· Prepare income reports and statistics

· Reconciliation payments to ledgers

· Respond to customer queries

· Contacting customers in relation to overdue accounts

· Maintains logs, enters and balances account data, andgenerate statistical summary reports as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

· Minimum 12 months experience in Accounts Receivable

· Chinese speaking skills essential (preferably Cantonese)

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Sound negotiation and customer service skills

· Proficient in using MS Office applications - Word,Excel, and Outlook

· Team Player
